What do you get when you put a Geo Metro underneath a giant tree during a violent windstorm? Well...pictures are worth a thousand words, so I'll just let you admire the handiwork of the conspiracy between our tree and the weather. Poor Marcus. Sorry Mom!! Oh, and last picture is of our new handrails. I still don't think they are necessary, and I don't really like them...but oh well, what can you do?

My goodness! It's amazing what a 'little' wind can do! I've been very bad about checking out the blogs lately, so I've been doing some catching up today.
I was so happy to see that I'm not the only crazy person who spent WAY too much time in their kitchen canning this year! I did up 45 1/2 quarts of marinara sauce and 48 pints of plum jam. My neighbor is giving me a bunch of peaches off her tree that I plan on making syrup with and I will be doing up apples next week...I'm so looking forward to it after reading your blog - or not!
Oh, and I can't believe how much older Marcus looks! Can it be that he has grown up over the past couple of years?!?! Bengi gets home on Friday, the 7th!!! We are picking him up from the SLC airport and driving him to ID. I'm VERY excited!!!!
