Elder Dallin H. Oaks Sleeps in Taiwan

Elder Oaks came to Kaohsiung last week. There were tons of people there...but we instantly spotted the one white couple with their daughter. Soo...we did what any Americans in church in a foreign country would do....we ran across the chapel and sat by them before anyone else could. They are Tiffany and Ryan and Emma....and now we are at their house typing on their computer. Us crazy foreigners have to stick together!!

That's "Jet Lag" for you!! It's hard to stay awake sometimes when you aren't 14 hours out of whack, itn't it?

I'm glad that you went to church. It's a good place to meet good people isn't it?

It was nice to talk to you guys the other day, even though Spike doesnt know that 2:pm your time is Midnight my time. I was very glad to hear your voices... I hope that we will soon be able to see the real thing via videocam?

I think that you are really having some quality personal bonding time there. I can tell that Madison and her parents are generating some lasting relationships and experiences there together.

Love ya, Dad
